Light-medium oil conditions call for a ball with a strong, angular hook and smooth backend. The MOTIV Hyper Venom uses a Propulsion MXR Pearl reactive coverstock paired with the Gear Symmetrical core for medium-high hook potential, fitting bowlers of all skill levels.
If you need a ball that reads the midlane well and snaps sharply on the backend in light to medium oil, this one is solid. It has a clean skid through the heads, then turns with a noticeable arc and solid continuation through the pins. Anyone looking for a ball that can handle lighter volumes without spinning out too early should take a hard look.
Under the cover, MOTIV went with the Propulsion MXR Pearl reactive coverstock, which gives it that strong backend reaction without being over the top. The Gear Symmetrical core keeps the motion predictable. At a 2.48 RG and 0.034 differential, it keeps energy going down lane while still providing enough angularity. The 5500 grit LSP finish helps it read just a bit earlier through the front part of the lane.
This is the most angular Venom MOTIV has made yet, so if you want a sharper move off the breakpoint but don’t want to deal with a ball that hooks too hard, this fits the bill. Available in a full range of weights. Worth keeping around when the lanes dry up but you still need a good backend bite.

Returns
Because bowling equipment is performance-based and often customized, returns are handled carefully.
Unused, undrilled items may be eligible for return within a limited timeframe. Items must be in original condition and packaging.
Customized, drilled, or altered equipment is not eligible for return unless there is a confirmed defect.
Defective or Damaged Items
