Description

If you’re bowling on light to medium oil, this ball gives you a solid read through the front part of the lane with enough skid before it snaps off the backend. The motion isn’t overly aggressive, but it’s got a nice arc that carries well through the pins. It works for all skill levels, from league grinders dialing in their angles to weekend bowlers wanting reliable carry without fighting the ball.

Under the cover, MOTIV went with the Leverage MFS Solid Reactive coverstock paired with the Gear APG Asymmetric core, sitting at a 2.47 RG with a 0.036 differential. The 4000 grit LSS factory finish keeps the ball moving smoothly through the midlane while maintaining enough traction downlane to let the Black Venom flip through the backend. This combo gives you a predictable, controllable motion that won’t surprise you on typical house patterns.

If you’re after a ball that reads the lane well but still flips when you need it, this one fits the bill. It’s available in a full range of weights, so you can find your sweet spot. The Black Venom doesn’t overreact or underperform. It just gets the job done with solid carry and a clean look through the pins.

About brand
Shipping and Delivery

Shipping & Returns

We want ordering from Fastlane Bowling Pro Shop to be simple and predictable. The information below outlines how shipping and returns work so you know exactly what to expect before you place an order.

Shipping

Orders are shipped from our shop and supplier partners based on product availability. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise noted. Delivery times may vary depending on product type, availability, and destination. Bowling balls and larger items may ship separately from accessories. If you have questions about shipping timelines before placing an order, contact us and we will help you plan accordingly.

Drilled vs Undrilled Equipment

Most bowling balls are shipped undrilled unless drilling is explicitly selected and confirmed. If drilling options are added in the future, additional processing time may apply. We will always confirm details before completing any drilled order.

Returns

Because bowling equipment is performance-based and often customized, returns are handled carefully.

Unused, undrilled items may be eligible for return within a limited timeframe. Items must be in original condition and packaging.

Customized, drilled, or altered equipment is not eligible for return unless there is a confirmed defect.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us as soon as possible. Include photos and a brief description so we can resolve the issue quickly.

We will work with you and the manufacturer when applicable to determine the best solution.

Questions Before You Order?

If you are unsure about sizing, compatibility, or whether a product is right for you, contact us before placing your order. We would rather help you choose correctly than deal with returns later.
