Hammer Special Effect

$1.00

Medium-heavy oil calls for a ball with strong backend reaction and smooth continuation. The Hammer Special Effect uses a Special Effect Pearl Reactive coverstock to deliver a high hook potential for intermediate players who want a controllable yet aggressive finish.

Description

If you’re bowling on medium-heavy oil and need a ball that reads the midlane cleanly and flips hard at the backend, this one fits the bill. It’s got a smooth, continuous arc that’s easy to predict, making it a solid choice for bowlers with some experience looking to sharpen their backend reaction without losing control.

Under the cover, Hammer went with the Special Effect Pearl Reactive coverstock paired with the Special Effect Core. The polished 1500-grit surface helps the ball glide through the heads, delaying the hook until the breakpoint. The core sits at a 2.48 RG with a 0.05 differential, keeping the motion angular but manageable. This setup creates that strong backend flip with good continuation through the pins.

If your arsenal is missing a reliable pearl reactive for medium-heavy conditions, this ball is worth checking out. It comes in typical weight options, so most bowlers can find a fit. Just expect a ball that won’t sneak too early but will finish strong and hold its line well through the backend.

About brand
Shipping and Delivery

Shipping & Returns

We want ordering from Fastlane Bowling Pro Shop to be simple and predictable. The information below outlines how shipping and returns work so you know exactly what to expect before you place an order.

Shipping

Orders are shipped from our shop and supplier partners based on product availability. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise noted. Delivery times may vary depending on product type, availability, and destination. Bowling balls and larger items may ship separately from accessories. If you have questions about shipping timelines before placing an order, contact us and we will help you plan accordingly.

Drilled vs Undrilled Equipment

Most bowling balls are shipped undrilled unless drilling is explicitly selected and confirmed. If drilling options are added in the future, additional processing time may apply. We will always confirm details before completing any drilled order.

Returns

Because bowling equipment is performance-based and often customized, returns are handled carefully.

Unused, undrilled items may be eligible for return within a limited timeframe. Items must be in original condition and packaging.

Customized, drilled, or altered equipment is not eligible for return unless there is a confirmed defect.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us as soon as possible. Include photos and a brief description so we can resolve the issue quickly.

We will work with you and the manufacturer when applicable to determine the best solution.

Questions Before You Order?

If you are unsure about sizing, compatibility, or whether a product is right for you, contact us before placing your order. We would rather help you choose correctly than deal with returns later.
