Description

If you’re facing dry lanes and need a ball that won’t overreact in the backend, this one fits the bill. It offers a smooth, controllable arc with a low hook potential, making it easy to manage for newer players or those dialing in a spare ball. The motion reads the midlane nicely without flipping too hard late, so you get a predictable continuation through the pins.

Under the cover, Storm went with the Reactor Pearl coverstock paired with their new Surge symmetric core. That core sits at a 2.57 RG with a 0.025 differential, which means it won’t roll out too early or snap too aggressively. The ball comes out of the box with a 1500-grit polish, helping it slide through the front part of the lane before settling in the backend. It’s all about a smooth transition and a controlled backend reaction.

This Tropical Surge isn’t going to wow you with a big hook, but it doesn’t aim to. It’s best for those still figuring out their release or anyone wanting a predictable ball that reads dry lanes without drama. Available in a range of weights, it’s a solid option for beginners or bowlers looking for a simple, consistent ball motion.

About brand
Shipping and Delivery

Shipping & Returns

We want ordering from Fastlane Bowling Pro Shop to be simple and predictable. The information below outlines how shipping and returns work so you know exactly what to expect before you place an order.

Shipping

Orders are shipped from our shop and supplier partners based on product availability. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise noted. Delivery times may vary depending on product type, availability, and destination. Bowling balls and larger items may ship separately from accessories. If you have questions about shipping timelines before placing an order, contact us and we will help you plan accordingly.

Drilled vs Undrilled Equipment

Most bowling balls are shipped undrilled unless drilling is explicitly selected and confirmed. If drilling options are added in the future, additional processing time may apply. We will always confirm details before completing any drilled order.

Returns

Because bowling equipment is performance-based and often customized, returns are handled carefully.

Unused, undrilled items may be eligible for return within a limited timeframe. Items must be in original condition and packaging.

Customized, drilled, or altered equipment is not eligible for return unless there is a confirmed defect.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us as soon as possible. Include photos and a brief description so we can resolve the issue quickly.

We will work with you and the manufacturer when applicable to determine the best solution.

Questions Before You Order?

If you are unsure about sizing, compatibility, or whether a product is right for you, contact us before placing your order. We would rather help you choose correctly than deal with returns later.
