For bowlers looking for a straighter ball with low hook potential on all lane conditions, the Storm Lightning Storm Clear uses a polyester coverstock and a Traditional 3-piece Core to help with spare shooting and controlled shots.
When you want something that reads the lane early and keeps it straight through the pins, this ball steps in. It’s a low-hook option that works on all lane conditions, especially for beginners or anyone who needs a reliable spare ball. It won’t grab or flip on you, making it easy to trust when the pocket isn’t the target.
Under the cover, Storm went with a polyester coverstock, which is about as smooth and predictable as it gets. The Traditional 3-piece Core keeps the ball rolling with a simple motion. Factory finish is 3500 grit polished, so it has a soft skid through the front part of the lane and a clean continuation downlane. The RG and differential specs are unknown, but with polyester and this finish, you’re looking at a straighter arc with very little backend reaction.
If you’re just starting out or need a dependable spare ball for league nights, this one fits the bill. It comes in a variety of weights to suit most bowlers. Nothing fancy, just a straightforward plastic ball that does exactly what you expect from a spare ball.

Drilled vs Undrilled Equipment
Returns
Because bowling equipment is performance-based and often customized, returns are handled carefully.
Unused, undrilled items may be eligible for return within a limited timeframe. Items must be in original condition and packaging.
Customized, drilled, or altered equipment is not eligible for return unless there is a confirmed defect.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us as soon as possible. Include photos and a brief description so we can resolve the issue quickly.
