Description

When the lanes are soaked and you need a ball that can pull through the heavy oil, this one gets the job done. It’s made for the advanced bowler who wants a strong, angular motion with plenty of hook potential and backend turn. The Ion Max doesn’t shy away from the front part of the lane, giving you a consistent read through the midlane and a strong continuation into the pins. If you like to play deeper inside lines or need a ball that can fight through thick oil, this one fits the bill.

Under the cover, Storm went with the Element Max A.I. Core, sitting at a 2.47 RG with a 0.053 differential. That core includes an added weighted disk for extra torque and control. The NRG Solid coverstock keeps the ball aggressive on heavy oil, while the 2000-grit Abralon finish balances early hook with a smooth backend flip. It’s a reactive resin ball that’s ready to handle the toughest lanes without being unpredictable.

This ball’s very high hook potential means it’s not for the casual bowler or those who prefer a softer arc. It’s most at home in heavier oil, and if you need a ball that can turn sharply and still carry well, it’s worth a look. Available in solid weights, it’s a reliable option when the lanes get nasty and you need something that reacts fast but controlled.

About brand
Shipping and Delivery

Shipping & Returns

We want ordering from Fastlane Bowling Pro Shop to be simple and predictable. The information below outlines how shipping and returns work so you know exactly what to expect before you place an order.

Shipping

Orders are shipped from our shop and supplier partners based on product availability. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise noted. Delivery times may vary depending on product type, availability, and destination. Bowling balls and larger items may ship separately from accessories. If you have questions about shipping timelines before placing an order, contact us and we will help you plan accordingly.

Drilled vs Undrilled Equipment

Most bowling balls are shipped undrilled unless drilling is explicitly selected and confirmed. If drilling options are added in the future, additional processing time may apply. We will always confirm details before completing any drilled order.

Returns

Because bowling equipment is performance-based and often customized, returns are handled carefully.

Unused, undrilled items may be eligible for return within a limited timeframe. Items must be in original condition and packaging.

Customized, drilled, or altered equipment is not eligible for return unless there is a confirmed defect.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us as soon as possible. Include photos and a brief description so we can resolve the issue quickly.

We will work with you and the manufacturer when applicable to determine the best solution.

Questions Before You Order?

If you are unsure about sizing, compatibility, or whether a product is right for you, contact us before placing your order. We would rather help you choose correctly than deal with returns later.
