Medium-heavy oil calls for a ball that reads the lane front to back with smooth, continuous motion. The Storm Summit Ascent uses a solid R2S coverstock and Centripetal HD core to deliver high hook potential for bowlers at all skill levels.

Description

If the lanes are hanging medium-heavy oil, this ball brings a strong, predictable arc from front to back. It offers a smooth skid through the heads with a clean read in the midlane and a solid backend flip that finishes with some punch at the pins. Any bowler looking for a reliable ball that blends forgiveness with a strong hook can get comfortable with this one.

Under the cover, Storm went with the R2S Solid Reactive coverstock, finished at 4000-grit Abralon. That gives it a controlled, steady motion without being overly aggressive. The Centripetal HD – A.I. core sits at a 2.46 RG and a 0.056 differential, which means it stores energy well and converts it efficiently into backend continuation and angularity. This combo helps smooth out those tricky midlane reads while still offering plenty of hook potential.

If you want a ball that handles medium-heavy oil without being too twitchy, this is worth a look. It’s available in the standard weight range and suits everyone from league grinders to weekend warriors who want a dependable ball motion that doesn’t surprise you.

About brand
Shipping and Delivery

Shipping & Returns

We want ordering from Fastlane Bowling Pro Shop to be simple and predictable. The information below outlines how shipping and returns work so you know exactly what to expect before you place an order.

Shipping

Orders are shipped from our shop and supplier partners based on product availability. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise noted. Delivery times may vary depending on product type, availability, and destination. Bowling balls and larger items may ship separately from accessories. If you have questions about shipping timelines before placing an order, contact us and we will help you plan accordingly.

Drilled vs Undrilled Equipment

Most bowling balls are shipped undrilled unless drilling is explicitly selected and confirmed. If drilling options are added in the future, additional processing time may apply. We will always confirm details before completing any drilled order.

Returns

Because bowling equipment is performance-based and often customized, returns are handled carefully.

Unused, undrilled items may be eligible for return within a limited timeframe. Items must be in original condition and packaging.

Customized, drilled, or altered equipment is not eligible for return unless there is a confirmed defect.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us as soon as possible. Include photos and a brief description so we can resolve the issue quickly.

We will work with you and the manufacturer when applicable to determine the best solution.

Questions Before You Order?

If you are unsure about sizing, compatibility, or whether a product is right for you, contact us before placing your order. We would rather help you choose correctly than deal with returns later.
